Handicare Stairlifts
Handicare Stairlifts has a wide selection of different stairlift models for straight and curved staircases. Their distribution center is located in St. Louis Missouri. They do have a few of their own showrooms in the USA which are listed on our map.
They use a network of dealers which you can find here as well.
Headquarters are in Stockholm Sweden and the stairlifts are fabricated in a few different countries.

Simplicity 950 stairlift (Also called Sterling Stairlifts 950) is most likely their best selling lower-cost stairlift. It has basic features and a 310lbs capacity. See brochure for features and options
Handicare 1000 straight stairlift has a different rail design with hidden gear rack and a 350lbs weight capacity is standard. Also available 440lbs weight capacity. Outdoor version see below
Handicare 1100 straight stairlift is their newest offering. See News story. It uses a friction drive system and multiple small motors. friction to secure itself to the rail. Handicare says this is also easier to maintain
Handicare 2000 Curved Stairlift is their lower cost Curved stairlift with a double rail that features rack and pinion. The rail can also be had in optional colors. Weight capacity is 250lbs standard and 300lbs optional
Handicare Freecurve is manufactured by Freelift in the Netherlands. Previously also called the Freelift curved stairlift. This is a single rail stairlift. Many options and colors available. Weight limit is 275lbs.
Handicare Xclusive straight new stairlift is a contemporary design and can have many power options included. Features large seat and comfortable armrests,
Weight capacity is 285lbs
Handicare 1000 outdoor stairlifts are built to withstand the outdoor environment. They come standard with a cover and weight capacities are the same as the standard indoor 1000
